As a Cognitive Integrative Hypnotherapist my on-going training means I have access to the best of training techniques, therapy, peer support and on-going supervision as a registered member.
The National Council for Hypnotherapy, which implements the highest standards of training and professional ethics amongst its members and I comply with their strict code of ethics and public protection policies.
The CNHC was formed to regulate the quality of practitioners to protect the public under the King’s Fund and Department of Health. Whoever you see, ensure they are a member of the CNHC so you know they are regulated and you are protected.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy takes ideas from the schools of Neuroscience, Positive Psychology, Evolutionary Psychology, Hypnotherapy, Gestalt, NLP and much more.
We all experience times when we become locked into beliefs, habits, behaviour and addictions which impact our life quality. Change becomes difficult when we self sabotage.
All behaviour has a purpose for it. Our problems arise because our mind wants to protect us by keeping us away from past situations that were unpleasant.
When a similar situation occurs, we are ‘emotionally hijacked’ by our unconscious mind, resulting in behaviour we often can’t control or explain.
